Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team dedicated to patient care. You will gain hands-on healthcare experience while supporting clinicians and patients during treatment and daily routines, with mentorship and exposure to the field of physical therapy.

You will greet patients, assist with intake and scheduling, help prepare treatment areas, support therapeutic exercises, and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and be at least 18 years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience is required.
• Preferred: background in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during daily check-in and appointments.
• Promote efficient patient intake and registration, assist clinicians with scheduling.
• Onboard new patients: review paperwork, verify benefits, complete medical forms.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas; set up and adjust exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support home exercise programs.

• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
