Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy seeks a part-time Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional patient care. You will support clinicians, prepare treatment areas, assist patients with exercises, and help manage patient flow during visits.

The role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities to gain healthcare experience while working AM or PM shifts. Prior customer service or healthcare exposure is helpful, with an emphasis on compassion and accurate

Scheduling:

Part time hours with mostly either AM or PM shifts. PM more likely M/W/Th, AM T/F.

Work alongside leading experts in Physical and Occupational Therapy, playing a key role in supporting our patients' recovery. In this position, you’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and direct exposure to the field of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

At ATI Physical Therapy, we offer a collaborative and welcoming environment where you will:

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.

• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.


• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.

• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.


• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.


• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma


• Must be 18+ years


• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)


• Certified Personal Trainer experience.


• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
