Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) in Henderson, NV is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide to provide friendly customer service and essential administrative support for a smooth patient experience.

You will assist with transitioning patients to therapy, prepare equipment, manage records and scheduling, and help therapists with exercises while keeping the therapy areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare training is a plus.
• Prior healthcare experience or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Provide customer service and administrative support to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas per therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing.
• Support front office tasks during downtime (phones, scans, scheduling, payments).
• Assist therapists during therapy sessions with materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment daily.

About The Role

As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.
