Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide to assist clinicians and patients in an outpatient rehab setting. You will greet patients, help with intake, prepare treatment areas, and support patients in performing prescribed exercises under supervision.

This hands-on role includes training, teamwork, and exposure to physical therapy workflows, with benefits such as PTO, medical coverage, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must have healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients in person and by phone during check-in and appointments.
• Assist with scheduling and onboarding to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Onboard new patients, review paperwork, verify benefits and complete forms.
• Support clinicians by preparing and cleaning treatment areas and equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients with exercises and home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
