Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team delivering exceptional patient care. You will greet patients, assist with intake and scheduling, and support clinicians by preparing treatment areas and equipment.

• High School diploma; must be 18+ years.
• Healthcare or customer service experience required.
• Preferred: healthcare/fitness-related certifications or PT aide/technician exposure.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients during check-in and appointment times.
• Assist with patient intake, registration, scheduling, and paperwork review.
• Onboard new patients: review forms, verify benefits and complete medical forms.
• Support therapists by preparing and cleaning treatment areas and equipment setup.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients with exercises and home exercise programs.

Status: Full-time 40 hours per week

Hours Clinic: 7:00am - 7:00pm

In this position, you’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and direct exposure to the field of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

At ATI Physical Therapy, we offer a collaborative and welcoming environment where you will:

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.

• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.

• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
