Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy in New Jersey is seeking engaged individuals to join our fast-growing outpatient team. You will greet patients, manage scheduling, and support clinicians by preparing equipment and monitoring patients during therapy sessions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and professionalism in a dynamic clinical setting, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. This is a part-time position in a patient-centered practice.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to therapy area.
• Inform the provider when patients arrive.
• Receive and confirm daily schedule.
• Notify provider of schedule changes.
• Prepare and set up equipment in treatment areas.
• Supervise patients during treatment.
• Confirm with provider that treatment is completed.
• Collaborate with coworkers in Therapy Treatment Areas.
• Prepare hot packs, ice packs and e-stimulation devices.
• Complete laundry and keep area clean.
• Ensure safe, clean and organized treatment spaces.
• Set up equipment for patient use.

SportsMed Physical Therapy is fortunate to be one of the fastest growing multidisciplinary practices in New Jersey. The services we offer our patients are: Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Occupational Hand Therapy, & Acupuncture. We treat a diverse variety of patients that includes sports-related injuries,post-surgical, elderly, desk workers, and much more.

We are looking for driven, motivated, and positive individuals to join our growing team! All our facilities have state of the art equipment focused on out-patient sports medicine and orthopedic diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort the patient to the prescribed therapy area
• Inform the provider when patients arrive
• Receive the day's schedule when arriving to the Therapy Center
• Alerting the provider of any schedule changes
• Preparing and setting up all equipment in the treatment areas
• Ensure patients are supervised properly while completing treatment
• Confirmation with provider that all treatment is completed
• Teamwork and communication with all co-workers in the Physical Therapy Treatment Areas
• Preparing hot packs, ice packs, e-stimulation machines
• Complete laundry throughout the day
• Maintain a safe and clean working and treatment area
• Preparing and setting up the equipment for the patients prior to their use
