Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide in Clarksburg, MD to join a collaborative team delivering high-quality patient care. You will support therapists, help with patient intake, and assist with exercises under supervision, gaining hands-on healthcare experience.

We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to physical therapy tasks while working in a busy clinic with standard hours and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients by phone and in person during check-in and appointments.
• Assist clinicians with scheduling and registration to promote efficiency.
• Onboard new patients, verify benefits, and complete medical forms.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas, set up and adjust exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and home exercise programs.

Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am -7:00pm

Status: Ful-time 40 hours

In this position, you’ll receive hands‑on training, mentorship, and direct exposure to the field of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

At ATI Physical Therapy, we offer a collaborative and welcoming environment where you will:

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check‑in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
