ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team delivering patient care and gaining hands-on healthcare skills. You will assist therapists, prep treatment areas, and support patients with exercises. This entry-level role includes mentorship and exposure to physical therapy settings.

Qualifications

• Must have healthcare or customer service experience.
• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Preferred: healthcare-related education or PT/ PTA exposure.
• Experience as trainer or in exercise science is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients in person and by phone at check-in and during appointments.
• Assist clinicians with scheduling and intake processes to keep flow smooth.
• Onboard new patients, review paperwork, verify benefits, and complete forms.
• Support therapists by preparing treatment areas and equipment; assist with set-up and clean-up.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Help patients perform prescribed exercises and support home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

At ATI Physical Therapy, we offer a collaborative and welcoming environment where you will:

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
