Job summary

UCHealth in Loveland, CO seeks a Respiratory Therapist to evaluate and treat therapy needs, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop patient-centered care plans with education for patients and families.

This full-time role features a 72-hour pay-period, day shifts, and a $50/hour base pay plus travel package. 13-week assignments and local travel within 75 miles are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• One year of experience.
• Registered as a Physical Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC.
• BLS - CPR certification required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes a plan of care in collaboration with patient/family.
• Provides education to patient and family about deficits and equipment/ programs.

LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles

Summary

• Evaluates and treats patient populations for therapy needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.
• Provides education to the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
• Performs all underlying duties of the job including but not limited to supervising support personnel according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• One year of experience
• Registered as a Physical Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
