Job summary

Confluent Health is seeking a PT Technician to join our fast-paced clinics. You will work closely with licensed physical therapists, helping patients feel welcome and supported while keeping the clinic running smoothly.

This role involves direct patient interaction, assisting with exercise programs, and supporting front desk staff. Training is provided to align with clinic workflows and care standards, with a part-time schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for diverse patients.
• Ability to follow directions from licensed therapists.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy clinic.
• Ability to work with therapists, front office, and clinic team.
• Take initiative to identify clinic and patient needs.

• Reliable attendance with daytime availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to treatment areas with staff support.
• Guide patients through therapist-directed exercise programs.
• Set up and take down modalities (heat, ice, e-stim, Game Ready, Normatec).
• Clean and sanitize treatment tables, equipment, and rooms between patients.
• Keep clinic stocked and organized; handle laundry and supplies restocking.
• Anticipate needs of therapists and patients and assist where needed.
• Support front desk and clinic team during downtime.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and bring them to treatment areas, ensuring they have a staff member with them
• Guide patients through exercise programs as directed by the treating therapist
• Set up and take down modalities such as heat, ice, e-stim, Game Ready, and Normatec as directed by the therapist
• Clean and sanitize treatment tables, equipment, and rooms between patients
• Keep the clinic stocked and organized, including laundry and restocking supplies
• Anticipate the needs of therapists and patients and assist where needed
• Support the front desk and other members of the clinic team during downtime
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in every interaction

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages, including those who may be experiencing pain or discomfort
• Ability to follow direction from licensed therapists and carry out assigned patient support activities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, front office staff, and other members of the clinic team
• Ability to take initiative and identify clinic, patient, and team needs within the scope of the role
• Ability to remain on your feet throughout your shift and perform routine clinic activities including cleaning, laundry, restocking supplies, and moving equipment
• Ability to maintain patient privacy and follow HIPAA and clinic standards
• Reliable attendance and the ability to commit to a consistent work schedule; daytime availability is preferred

Preferred

• Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in kinesiology, exercise science, health science, biology, or a related pre-PT field preferred
• Previous experience in customer service, fitness, personal training, coaching, sports, or another patient- or customer-facing environment preferred

We provide training on clinic workflows, modalities, cleaning standards, and patient care support.

Compensation

$12.00 /hr - $14.00 /hr
