Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Therapy Services team in Georgia. You will perform evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, document progress, and ensure care aligns with policy and practice standards.

We support your clinical growth with merit increases, preceptorship, onboarding, and a suite of benefits including health plans and relocation assistance where applicable. A valid GA PT license and CAPTE-accredited education are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Valid professional license in the state of practice.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures and document timely.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per care plan.
• Complete documentation and records accurately and promptly.
• Follow policies and procedures related to PT scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care with initiative.
• Attend required orientations and trainings in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized physical therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional license in the state of practice
• Graduate of CAPTE accredited school. If foreign-trained, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to a Physical Therapist entry level education in the U.S. by a credential's evaluation organization approved by the APTA
