Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role requires an accredited PT degree and current New York State licensure, with preference for geriatric care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting preferred; new grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions and develop rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents’ pain with exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Assist residents with tasks and monitor performance.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
