Job summary

Progressive Rehab Solutions in Louisiana is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide skilled services, evaluate and plan therapy programs to improve mobility and independence. You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, implement exercise and modalities, educate patients and caregivers, document progress, supervise PTAs, and collaborate with the rehab team.

Candidates must have a Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy and active state license; prior long-term care

Qualifications

• A Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A current and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy is required and must be maintained in good standing.
• Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment and home programs.
• Document progress in compliance with regulations.
• Supervise PTAs and aides per state law.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
