Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence in El Paso, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs as part of an interdisciplinary team. This full-time, day-shift role involves direct patient care, assessments, and care planning to restore mobility and independence.

Required: Bachelor's or Master's in Physical Therapy, state licensure and BLS. Preferred: Doctorate in Physical Therapy and 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• State licensure and BLS certification are required.
• 2 years of experience as a practicing PT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, and implements treatment programs for individual patients.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration to assess and reassess patient progress.
• Interprets tests and measures and adjusts treatment plans accordingly.
• Develops functional goals with patient and family expectations.
• Works to restore functional mobility and independence.
• Responds to physician orders and clarifies orders as needed.
