Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center in Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength and mobility after illness, injury, or surgery. You will assess needs and develop personalized therapy plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team to achieve meaningful outcomes.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, document results timely, and educate patients and families on exercises and safety.

Qualifications

BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT).
Vocational school graduate.
At least 1 year of experience in physical therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
Monitor progress, refine therapy plans, and document outcomes accurately and timely.
Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices.
Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery.
Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding our values of excellence, compassion, and integrity.
