Job summary

Ventura Orthopedics and Sports Medicine invites a qualified Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. You will help patients recover, restore, and improve mobility and quality of life, delivering individualized therapy plans and maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating clinic operations, and collaborating with physicians, therapists, and administration to ensure excellent patient experiences. California license and CPR required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited physical or occupational therapy education program.
• Must possess an active California license, in good standing.
• Must possess current CPR certification.
• Participation in recent continuing education related to PT or OT.
• Fundamental understanding of health care policies and government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise therapy aides and staff to ensure quality patient service.
• Recruit, supervise and direct staff in coordination with HR and Therapy Manager.
• Perform and document an initial exam.
• Plan and carry out therapy programs to restore or maintain function.
• Record prognosis, treatment, and progress via eCW.
• Communicate with patients, families, and referring practitioners.
• Attend therapy meetings and participate in special projects.
