Physical Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform direct physical therapy services according to standards and physician certification.
• Follow the Plan of Care established by the Physical Therapist and report changes.
• Adhere to State Practice Act Guidelines.
• Verify and implement the Plan of Care, incorporating patient care goals.
• Instruct patients and families in the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy home programs.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• 6+ months of experience preferred.
• Current license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
