Sigma Health Rehab is recruiting a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Gloversville, NY. The role supports residents with rehab plans and outcomes in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

We welcome both seasoned professionals and new grads, offering mentorship, growth opportunities, and flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort
