Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. provides pediatric physical therapy services in school settings across Long Island and NYC. The role focuses on evaluating, treating, and documenting progress to support each child’s goals and IEP objectives.

The PT must hold a valid license in the state and possess a qualifying Physical Therapy degree, with opportunities for career growth and clinical support teams. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid and unencumbered Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license and eligibility.
• Qualifying degree in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Performs evaluations and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Physical Therapy services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
• Assist with functional mobility and orientation safety directives, guidelines, and exercises.
