Job summary

Broad River Rehab is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist for our Assisted Living Facility in Fernandina Beach, Florida. The role offers flexible hours (5–20 hrs/week) and an opportunity to impact residents’ movement, strength, and well-being within a supportive team.

The PT will evaluate and treat residents under physician orders and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve function and reduce pain. Florida PT licensure and a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are required.

Qualifications

• Florida Physical Therapy license is required.
• Physical Therapist degree (Masters or Doctorate) required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents under physician orders using various therapeutic procedures.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing PT support and information.

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats residents, under orders from a physician, through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination and bod alignment, to relieve pain and to improve movement and function. The Physical Therapist participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing support and information within the area of Physical Therapy.

Requirements For Physical Therapist

• Florida Physical Therapy license required.
