Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a physical therapist to provide one‑on‑one neuro rehabilitation in patients' homes and community settings across the United States. You will evaluate, treat, and monitor individuals recovering from neurological conditions, advancing mobility and independence with autonomy over your schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification as required by state regulations.
• Typically at least 1 year of PT work experience; neuro rehab preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed.
• Conduct discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members.
• Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from a college or university with accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist by state in which practicing.
• Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods.
• Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times.
• A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on the specific location policy, local or state regulations to verify that he/she is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary Range

USD $55.00 - $60.00 / Hour
