Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients at home, helping them regain mobility and independence. You will work with families and care teams to implement the physician’s plan and participate in specialty programs such as Balance and Fall Prevention and joint replacement protocols.

The role requires a valid Physical Therapist license in the state, a current driver’s license, and reliable automobile liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must have automobile liability insurance and be able to drive in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility and daily living activities.
• Deliver skilled therapy services per physician’s plan and supervise/educate family and care team.
• Contribute to specialty programs such as Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, and joint replacement programs.
• Work under direction of Branch Director and provide intermittent professional services.

Responsibilities

Our Physical Therapists examine and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living. We have Specialty Programs that include Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, Total Hip and Knee Replacement Program, and our Total Shoulder Replacement Program. He/she administers skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teaches the family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.

This part‑time salaried position works 24 hours/week, over 4 days in the week, and is eligible for our 60% paid days off program.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

• Must wear seatbelts at all times while driving.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be currently licensed in the state of employment.
