Job summary

Vibra Healthcare’s Gateway Rehab in Florence, KY seeks a Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehab team. You will assess and treat patients, develop and implement therapy programs, document progress, and collaborate with physicians to optimize functional recovery.

One year of hospital experience preferred; active KY Physical Therapist license and BLS certification required. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, with strong communication and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Physical Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under a physician's order.

Hospital Details

Gateway Rehab, located in Florence, KY is a 40 bed inpatient rehab providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Physical Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under a physicians order.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Previous Hospital experience preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
