Job summary

Eyas Landing - Avondale in Chicago, IL is hiring a Physical Therapist to provide clinic-based pediatric therapy to children with ASD and neurodiverse needs. You will use evidence-based approaches, collaborate with OT, speech, and social work teams, and support mobility and independence in school and home settings.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive salary of $76,000–$85,000, benefits, and opportunities for leadership within the PT department as the program grows.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Active Illinois licensure through IDFPR required.
• Experience providing PT services to children with autism or other neurodevelopmental differences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and group physical therapy to children in clinic, school, and home settings.
• Implement pediatric PT approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and IRM.
• Collaborate daily with occupational and speech therapists and social workers.
• Document progress and communicate with families to support continuity of care.

Chicago, IL | Predictable Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM schedule | No evenings or weekends required.

Eyas Landing - Avondale is seeking a skilled and compassionate clinic-based Physical Therapist (PT) to join our multidisciplinary team of top therapists in Chicago, IL. This is a unique opportunity to provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy through our Merlin Day Academy, a fully integrated educational and therapeutic environment for children ages 6-14 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.

About The Role

As a Physical Therapist (PT) at Eyas Landing - Avondale, you will provide physical therapy to children and families in our clinic, clients' schools and homes. You'll foster each child's mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence growth through:

• Providing individualized and group therapy
• Implementing therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM)
• Collaborating daily with occupational and speech therapists and social workers
• Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
