Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide functional rehabilitation in home, school, work or community settings. You’ll evaluate, plan and implement therapy that brings real-life outcomes to clients wherever life takes them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in state of practice.
• Current BLS or CPR certification per state regulations.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of PT experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and move patients up to 100 pounds under safety procedures.
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods and perform required physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members.
• Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations
• Preferred: a minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist
• Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving, lifting or transferring patients that may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Requires fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods
• Requires pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, positioning frequently
• May require a health screen or examination prior to assignment and periodically thereafter to verify physical capability with or without reasonable accommodations

Salary Range: USD $60.00 - $65.00 / Hour
