Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group in Hingham, MA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our school-based team in a full-time role. You will support student mobility, independence, and participation in daily school activities through individualized therapy and collaboration with teachers.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited PT degree and an active MA license, have experience with children, and excel in teamwork, documentation, and developing goals during IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license.
• Experience working with children and adolescents.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct physical therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies to support student success.
• Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
