Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ, seeks a weekend-shift PRN Physical Therapist to join our patient-care team.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, other therapists and social workers to develop patient-specific care plans and ensure effective treatment. Requirements include completion of a PT program approved by APTA or CMA, NJ PT license, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist is responsible for collaborating with physicians, nurses, other therapists, social workers, and other members of the patient care team to develop a patient specific care and treatment plan.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Successful completion of a Physical Therapy Program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Council on Medical Education.
• New Jersey Physical Therapy License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
