Job summary

LLA Therapy in Northeast Ohio seeks a Physical Therapist to join our clinic teams. You will conduct initial evaluations, design individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy while monitoring progress and adjusting as needed.

This role emphasizes teamwork, family education, and collaboration with school personnel to support students. Requirements include a Master’s/Doctorate in Physical Therapy, current Ohio license, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Master’s/Doctor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Ohio Physical Therapy license.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations on assigned patients.
• Design individualized treatment plans and materials to match the patient’s unique learning profile.
• Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy.
• Document, monitor, and analyze the patient’s progress and effects of treatment.
• Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient’s individualized treatment plans.
• Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (i.e., physician, school district, other therapies).
• Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee the treatment provided by physical therapist assistants (PTAs) according to established licensing laws, state regulations, and PT practice standards.

Requirements

• Master’s/Doctor’s degree from an accredited college or university program of Physical Therapy.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Completed FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
• Current Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire)
• Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by the governing body.
• Positive and goal-oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
