Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, a BrightSpring Health Services affiliate, seeks a Physical Therapist focused on neurological rehabilitation. You will evaluate, treat, and advance patients in real-world settings, including home and community environments, with autonomous practice and collaborative support.

Ideal candidates have a PT license, BLS/CPR, and at least 1 year of neuro rehab experience. The role offers full-time hours, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist (preferred).
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods.
• Additional physical requirements include bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently.

Responsibilities

• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, make home and community safety recommendations, and provide referrals and education resources
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, recipient and family members
• Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes

• Current, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Duties require fine motor skills ,visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods
• Additional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times
• A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on the specific location policy, local or state regulations to verify that he/she is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations
