Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification per state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
• Effective and professional communication in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and lift up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
• Capability to perform moving, lifting, or transferring of patients and to walk or stand for extended periods.
• Requirements include fine motor skills, visual acuity, and the ability to push/pull, bend/stoop, reach, kneel, and position frequently.
• Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter to verify physical capability with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary Range

USD $60.00 - $65.00 / Hour
