Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation in Albuquerque seeks a Physical Therapist (PT) to join the Kindred Hospital Albuquerque team. This full-time, dayshift position focuses on evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and educating families and staff to support progress.

You will document care per regulatory requirements, collaborate with the care team, and maintain a safe, clean work environment while upholding professional standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
• Current CPR certification
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Put your physical therapy skills to work evaluating a patient's condition, developing a treatment plan, and helping them get better day by day
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws
• Other duties as assigned

How you'll contribute
