Job summary

Providence Seward Mountain Haven in Seward, AK is hiring multiple Physical Therapist positions in the Acute PT Department. Openings include Full Time schedules: 0.9 FTE, day shift (36 hours/week) and 1.0 FTE, day shift (40 hours/week).

A $5,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible external hires, and relocation assistance is offered. Develops, coordinates and maintains Physical Therapy services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners and patient/family.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, or Master's Degree, or Ph.D. in Physical Therapy.
• Alaska Physical Therapist License required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates and maintains Physical Therapy services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners and patient/family.
• Provides services to inpatients, outpatients and HHC clients and long-term care residents.
• Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide aspects of care in compliance with hospital standards and APTA guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Currently available schedules:

• Full Time, 0.9 FTE, day shift, 36 hours per week.
• Full Time, 1 FTE, day shift, 40 hours per week. $5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Develops, coordinates and maintains Physical Therapy services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners and patient/family. Provides services to inpatients, outpatients and HHC clients and long-term care residents. Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with hospital standards and guidelines established by the American Physical Therapy Association in conjunction with regulatory requirements of both federal and state agencies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or
• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or
• Ph.D. in Physical Therapy.
• Upon hire: Alaska Physical Therapist License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience and credentials in sub-specialty.
