Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Physical Therapist for our Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF). You will assess patients, determine acuity, and develop and direct individualized treatment programs to maximize independence and health.

Responsibilities include providing purposeful interventions and planning comprehensive care, with emphasis on rehabilitation outcomes and patient safety. Florida PT licensure and BLS are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred EMR experience.
• Florida PT license is required.
• BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist also assumes the responsibility for assessing the patient, identifying the level of acuity of illness, planning the patient's treatment program, and implementing and directing the program.
