Job summary

Western Reserve Hospital seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with injury or illness using established physical therapy interventions. You will supervise PT assistants, students, and others as deemed appropriate in a fast-paced setting.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, with Doctorate preferred for new grads, and an OH PT license alongside BLS. One year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred for new grads.
• Current Ohio PT license required; BLS certification.
• 1 year of PT experience preferred.

Education and Training

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; New Grads are required to have a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.

• Current license issued by the Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Athletic Trainer Board to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio.
• BLS required.

Experience

One (1) year of experience working as a Physical Therapist preferred.

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications

Successful verbal and written communication skills required for customer relations.

• Must be able to lift and transport patients and equipment.

Schedule

Will float between Western Reserve Hospital and Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium
