Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton, Missouri. You will evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans, and coordinate therapy services with the care team.

Qualifications include current Missouri PT licensure or eligibility and BLS certification. Weekend/holiday coverage may be required as part of tier shift rotations. Work onsite in a hospital setting with diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
• Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

PRN / Physical Therapist

• Tier I - $47 (plus weekend differential) - 1 shift per month (one must be weekend shift) - 1 holiday/weekend prior or after (managers discretion)

• Tier II - $52 (plus weekend differential) - 3 shifts per month (at least 2 must be weekend shifts) - One summer and one winter holiday/weekend prior or after (managers discretion)
