Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency seeks a licensed physical therapist to deliver comprehensive PT services across evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment and discharge planning in diverse care settings.

You will collaborate with healthcare teams, communicate effectively with patients and families, and participate in program development and protocol updates while ensuring timely documentation and accurate billing.

AHA BLS CPR certification and state licensure in MD/DC/VA as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure in Maryland, DC, and/or Virginia as required.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, review history, assess, and explain findings to patients and families, involving them in goal setting.
• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluations, consult with healthcare professionals as needed, and adjust plans according to patient condition.
• Complete discharge planning, follow-up care, and accurate documentation of patient progress and care activities.
• Manage time efficiently, meet productivity expectations, and ensure accessible patient care with flexibility and empathy.
• Pursue ongoing professional development, serve as a clinical instructor, and mentor staff, students, and volunteers.
