Job summary

ARC Physical Therapy+ in Topeka, KS seeks a passionate Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will assess, plan, and implement treatment while documenting progress and coordinating with physicians and insurance providers.

Eligible candidates hold a CAPTE-accredited degree, Kansas licensure, and CPR certification. Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with professional growth opportunities and bonuses based on productivity and performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state of Kansas license and CPR certification.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Review prescriptions and medical records to determine required PT treatment.
• Provide direct patient care per established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and patient/caregiver instructions.
• Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Create plan of care with goals and a comprehensive program.
• Implement therapy treatments and related procedures.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and discharge summaries.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at ARC Physical Therapy+ in Topeka, KS. As a vital member of our clinic, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey.

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program. New graduates are encouraged to apply, we’d love for you to start your career with us!
• Current state of Kansas license and CPR certification
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
• Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office

• Monday - Friday schedule (8:00 AM- 5:00PM)
