Job summary

ARC Physical Therapy+ in Topeka, KS is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join our team. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and support individuals through their recovery journey in a collaborative clinic setting.

You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, document progress, and communicate with physicians and insurance providers. New graduates are encouraged; Kansas licensure and CPR are required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program; new graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Current state license in Kansas and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
  • Basic PC skills: EMR, database software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Review physician's referral and medical records to determine required PT treatment.
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
  • Oversee care provided by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
  • Complete a written plan of care, set goals, and develop a comprehensive program.
  • Implement PT treatment program and provide essential therapies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers.
  • Ensure timely documentation: daily notes, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at ARC Physical Therapy+ in Topeka, KS . As a vital member of our clinic, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey.

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
  • Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
  • Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports
Qualifications
