Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist in Statesville, NC for a PRN position. You will perform evaluations and develop treatment plans, offering a flexible schedule tailored by you. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, state licensure, and at least one year of experience. Responsibilities

What you will do:

Responsibilities listed include but are not limited to:

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and educational resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, service recipient, and family members.
• Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

What you will need:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Movement, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and the ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
• Additional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times.
• A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on location policy and state regulations, to verify physical capability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
