Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to serve client employees at our Health Center in Reynoldsburg, OH. Clinic hours cover Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–12pm, with Cupping or Dry Needling experience a plus.

You will collaborate with doctors, NPs, PAs, nurses, dietitians, and HR to promote wellness and provide high-quality PT care in an onsite setting. A three-year outpatient experience is preferred, with necessary state PT licenses and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold all applicable state physical therapy licenses.
• Board certification where required by state or facility.
• Degree from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy program.
• CPR/BLS certification with hands-on skills verification.
• Minimum three years of outpatient PT experience in ambulatory clinic.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Health Center staff to promote employee health and wellness.
• Evaluate, assess, and develop patient treatment plans based on current PT research.
• Provide direct access to PT services and promote best practice at the workplace.
• Document patient care and communicate with onsite and community referrals.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Partner with safety officers and HR to enhance employee safety.

As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Reynoldsburg, OH. The scheduled hours are PRN as needed during clinic hours (Monday‑Thursday, 8am‑5pm; Friday, 8am‑12pm). Experience with cupping or dry needling is a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Work in collaboration with other Health Center staff members—including doctors, NPs, PAs, nurses, dietitians, wellness coaches, and community providers—to promote health and wellness to onsite employees and their dependents.
• Practice according to APTA professional standards, recognizing the importance of current physical therapy research, critical clinical reasoning, and the patient’s values when evaluating, assessing, and developing a treatment plan for each unique patient.
• Promote direct access to physical therapy services at the majority of our Health Centers, allowing PTs to practice at their highest skill level.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication by participating in Health Center meetings, patient care meetings, and through documentation and reporting to onsite and community referral sources.
• Participate in continuing competence activities including peer review, presentations, and optionally grand rounds.
• Work closely with client stakeholders—including safety officers, ergonomists, human resources, and other vendors—to promote employee safety in the workplace.
• Effect positive behavior change by developing and administering injury prevention and health promotion presentations, workshops, and other programming for onsite employees and other eligible populations.
• Teach real‑time proper body mechanics at the employee’s workstation.
• Assess and correct poor ergonomics.
• Develop and administer specific programs when a need is identified, such as Weekend Warrior musculoskeletal screens, Triathlon preparation workshops, Health Back Programs, and Stretch and Flex exercise classes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• All state licenses and certifications to practice.
• Current board certificate (if applicable).
• Degree from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy School.
• CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer). The certification must include a hands‑on evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor and must meet American Heart Association (AHA) standards; online courses alone are not accepted.
• At least three years’ experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient physical therapy clinic or other ambulatory care clinic. Outpatient orthopedic experience is required.

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $48.00 – $60.00 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
