Overview

OSF Rehabilitation at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Group is a hospital-based department that provides therapy services to inpatients and outpatients. This team consists of therapists and assistants who specialize in a variety of areas including aquatic therapy, orthopedics, pediatrics, LSVT Big (Parkinson’s disease) and other neurological diagnoses, vestibular problems, balance, and concussion management. Our occupational therapists work with patients with orthopedic diagnoses from the shoulder to the hand, neurological diagnoses, lymphedema, pelvic floor dysfunction, and pediatric patients with sensory dysfunction, feeding and eating issues, and developmental delay. A clinic focused on evidence-based practice, teamwork and collaboration creates a positive environment for both patients and co-workers.

Competitive Compensation: Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $46.03/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Those licensed after 2016 must have a Doctoral degree. Those licensed prior to 2016 are exempt from this requirement as grandfathered under prior IDFPR or MBPT licensure requirements.
• Licensure/ Certification: Respective state license in Physical Therapy or has graduated successfully from a professional program, is in receipt of Authorization to Test Letter, is scheduled to test within 60 days of eligibility, and has not failed the licensure exam. After passing licensure exam, state license must be verifiable within one year of hire.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire

• Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: Previous experience as a Physical Therapist
• Licensure/ Certification: Valid state driver’s license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor Vehicles driving record abstract.
• Other Skills/ Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and treatment team members; analytical ability to evaluate patients\' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans, observe patients and document status, and assist staff in resolving problems. Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information accurately.
