Cincinnati Rehabilitation Hospital at Blue Ash is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to independently evaluate patients, determine treatment strategies, and deliver or delegate interventions aimed at reducing pain and restoring function.

The role focuses on assessment of strength, balance, gait, endurance, and daily living activities, with potential inpatient rehab experience and a strong emphasis on collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC required.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine treatment strategies.
• Deliver or delegate PT services to maximize functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Position Summary

Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain, with emphasis on physical dysfunction. This role encompasses evaluation skills and techniques, analysis of patients, and therapeutic application of physical and chemical agents, exercise and other procedures to maximize the patient's functional independence. Evaluation involves strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait and functional abilities in activities of daily living.

Pay

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Physical Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
