Located in our Northwest Albany medical hub, the specialized clinics at Meredyth Place (including neurology and pain management specialties) represent our targeted outpatient medical care. Therapists collaborating here interface directly with specialized medical tracks, providing functional evaluations and highly customized rehabilitation strategies right alongside Phoebe’s leading clinical specialists. Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team for best outcomes with patient care. Supervise PTAs with treatment of patients and documentation for the best outcomes. Supervise specialists, aides, students and volunteers in the clinic. Keeps abreast of new lines of therapeutic interventions to enhance the department and patient care.
General environment: Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area, with moderate noise levels. May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights. May be exposed to limited hazardous substances or body fluids, or infectious organisms. May be required to change from one task to another of different nature without loss of efficiency or composure. Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur. May be scheduled as needed including overtime
4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Required)
0 - 1 year clinical, medical setting (Preferred)
Required Certifications/Licensures: Basic Life Support (BLS), Physical Therapist (PT), Specialty Certification required
Have near normal vision - Clarity of vision (both near and far), ability to distinguish colors Have good - manual dexterity and eye-hand-foot coordination Ability to perform - repetitive tasks/motion
