Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital (TVH), part of Southwest Healthcare, is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to join our acute care team in Temecula, CA. You will evaluate and treat patients, develop plan of care, and collaborate with physicians to restore function and prevent disability.

Responsibilities include directing therapy modalities, supervising a Physical Therapist Assistant, and ensuring adherence to California licensure and BLS standards.

Qualifications

  • One (1) year experience as a physical therapist in acute care facility preferred.
  • Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, entry level Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Current California Physical Therapist license.
  • BLS (AHA) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of physical therapy modalities prescribed by a licensed physician.
  • Administers treatments and physical agents in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
  • Supervises Physical Therapist Assistant.
