Job summary

A critical illness recovery hospital located in Panama City is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a PRN/Per Diem position. This role offers flexible hours with no weekends and a generous sign-on bonus of $1,500. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing care to critically ill patients. Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Work cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Participate in discharge planning for each patient.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patient's response to treatment.
• Complete appropriate documentation.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.
