Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in McKeesport is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time 20-hour weekly schedule. You will assess patients, develop and adjust treatment plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery after critical illness.

You will supervise PTAs and students, document progress, and participate in discharge planning. The role offers a hands-on, collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Set goals and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and PT/PTA students.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to department policies.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Contribute to quality improvement and ongoing staff education.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
