Job description

Our dynamic team of talented physical therapists provide hands‑on, one‑to‑one, clinical care. We have multiple outpatient therapy sites and are looking for a physical therapist to provide treatment to patients of all ages with orthopedic disorders, neurologic disorders, vestibular disorders, prosthetic and bracing needs and balance problems. Our goal is to maximize the patient’s recovery, minimize disability and enhance quality of life. We provide a positive, encouraging work environment and have excellent clinical staff retention. The large number of vastly experienced therapists and the open treatment environment provide the perfect opportunity for collaboration and mentorship. We will work with qualified applicants to best match their skills with the appropriate therapy location(s).

  • Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans appropriate for patient functional limitations.
  • Skillfully applies therapeutic techniques to address patient treatment needs.
  • Develops trusted relationships with referring providers, contributing to marketing and community outreach efforts.
  • Helps ensure well‑run clinical operations by completing necessary documentation and billing in a quality manner.
  • Manages caseload effectively.
  • Demonstrates the flexibility to accommodate and facilitate proficient patient care, including a willingness to provide care at more than one rehab therapy site as needed.
  • Stays current with trends and practices in therapeutic evaluation and treatment, supporting evidence‑based practice.
  • Participates in clinical staff education, meetings and quality improvement programs for patient care and staff development projects.
  • Demonstrates excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Supervises physical therapy students to develop their clinical skills and ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Complies with all pertinent rules and regulations within the State Practice Act and the American Physical Therapy Association’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
  • Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Education
  • Bachelor of Science (or higher) degree from an Accredited Physical Therapy program. Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Vermont.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience ideal, will consider a new graduate with strong sports/orthopedic clinical experience.
  • Experience in sports therapy preferred.
