Job summary

FX Physical Therapy is seeking a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our Maryland-based team. This role focuses on pelvic floor rehabilitation, women’s health, and orthopedic integration for conditions like pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, postpartum recovery, and core dysfunction.

We deliver care through a true 1-on-1 outpatient model, enabling individualized, hands-on treatment without high-volume scheduling.

Qualifications

• DPT from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland Physical Therapist license (or eligible).
• Experience or strong interest in pelvic health / pelvic floor physical therapy.
• Completion of pelvic health coursework preferred (Herman & Wallace, APTA Pelvic Health, or equivalent).
• Ability to perform or willingness to be trained in internal pelvic floor examination and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pelvic floor and orthopedic PT evaluations, including internal and external assessment as appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pelvic health conditions.
• Deliver manual therapy, pelvic floor retraining, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercise.
• Educate patients on pelvic health, movement strategies, and long-term wellness.
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes.
• Collaborate with referring providers and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation.
• Support growth of pelvic health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pelvic floor and orthopedic physical therapy evaluations, including internal and external assessment (as appropriate)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pelvic health conditions, including:
  • Urinary incontinence and urgency
  • Pelvic pain and dyspareunia
  • Pregnancy and postpartum recovery
  • Core and pelvic floor dysfunction
• Deliver skilled interventions including manual therapy, pelvic floor retraining, neuromuscular re‑education, and therapeutic exercise
• Educate patients on pelvic health, movement strategies, and long‑term wellness
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes
• Collaborate with referring providers and healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Support growth and development of pelvic health services

• Experience or strong interest in pelvic health / pelvic floor physical therapy

• Ability to perform or willingness to be trained in internal pelvic floor examination and treatment
• Strong understanding of orthopedic and movement-based rehabilitation
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• CPR and First Aid certification

Compensation

Salary: $78,000-$90,000/year based on experience
