Responsibilities

• Communicating, collaborating, and cooperating with colleagues, supervisors, and students.
• Providing direct or consultative services to identified students.
• Problem solving to meet students' needs.
• Liaising with school personnel, family, physicians, and agencies through written or oral communication.
• Providing training to the appropriate persons to carry over therapy goals in the school setting.
• Ordering, adapting, maintaining, and repairing equipment to meet student needs.
• Attending and participating in IEP and other team meetings.
• Evaluating, assessing, and screening students.
• Establishing and maintaining appropriate records, reports, and procedures.
• Setting up, maintaining, and cleaning treatment areas and PT equipment.
• Traveling to meet job requirements.
• Program services include: functional mobility, environmental adaptations/adaptive equipment, positioning, gross motor function, and sensory processing.
