Job summary

ARC Physical Therapy + in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. You will assess patients, create treatment plans, document progress, and coordinate care with physicians and insurance providers.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current license to practice in Kansas and CPR certification.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Proficient PC skills including EMR, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Review the physician's referral and patient records to determine required PT treatment.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Be responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Complete a written plan of care, set goals, and develop a comprehensive program to attain them.
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential therapies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes, weekly reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at ARC Physical Therapy +. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications

Pay, Schedule & Incentives

• Competitive pay range - Based on experience
• Monday - Friday schedule (8:00 AM- 5:00PM)
